What was I thinking?...
I recently quit my job to pursue my passion of Professional Organizing. I am also a full-time student completing my Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. While I enjoy both the schooling and LOVE the business, they are the ONLY things I think about all day, every day.
I am completely unbalanced. My husband has tried to convince me that running is a great way to create balance. He loves to run and is very good at it. I HATE running. (It may have something to do with the fact that I feel like a Sea Lion trying to catch a gazelle when I am running with my husband.)
After trying several other avenues over the last couple of weeks to create balance..Eating more chocolate, watching more movies, updating my Facebook page...I decided that reading was the thing that might bring balance back into my life.
I figured I am reading all the time...Mostly about things I have to read and not what I want to read. So I decided to switch that. I am going to read the books in the library that have nothing to do with organizing or business. I am going to read for FUN!
Being an organizer, I can't just go pick any book up and start there. I figured to get the most out of this balancing experiment I should read starting at the beginning of the alphabet. So I will start with authors that have last names beginning with A.
My husband suggested I blog about it. (I think this is mostly so that he won't have to read the book or listen to me talk about it.) My goal is to read two books a month. That way I can be through the entire alphabet in just a little over a year.
Wish me luck...and let me know if there are any books you suggest.
Actually, I enjoy hearing about new books you've read–especially since we have such different tastes in books.
